MAASTRO SYMPOSIUM 17 oktober - 18 oktober 2024 Beste zorgprofessional, Ter gelegenheid van het 1e lustrum van ons protonentherapiecentrum nodigen wij u uit voor ons tweedaags symposium op 17 en 18 oktober a.s, getiteld: 'Innovaties in de radiotherapie: wat brengt het de kankerpatiënt?' Op dag 1 komen diverse radiotherapie innovaties ter sprake en houden we tegen het licht welke toegevoegde waarde deze hebben voor het oncologische landschap en de patiënt. Wij zijn verheugd om onder andere dr. Bradly Wouters, prof. dr. Dirk de Ruysscher, dr. Lizza Hendriks en prof. dr. André Dekker te mogen verwelkomen als sprekers. *afhankelijk van de aanmeldingen zal de voertaal Engels zijn. Op dag 2 duiken we dieper in de toekomst van kankerzorg waarbij innovatie als drijvende kracht centraal staat. Ook op deze dag staan inspirerende sprekers op het programma, zoals prof. dr. Rianne Letschert, prof. dr. Marcel Verheij en prof. dr. Annemarie Weggelaar. *de voertaal is Nederlands. Het symposium zal plaatsvinden in het congrescentrum van Chateau St. Gerlach in Valkenburg aan de Geul, temidden van het Zuid-Limburgse heuvellandschap. Dear healthcare professional, On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of our proton therapy center, Maastro is organizing a two-day symposium on October 17th and 18th, titled: 'Innovations in radiotherapy: What does it mean for cancer patients?' On day 1, various radiotherapy innovations will be discussed, examining their added value for the oncological landscape and patients. We are pleased to welcome speakers such as Dr. Bradly Wouters, Prof. Dr. Dirk de Ruysscher, Dr. Lizza Hendriks, and Prof. Dr. André Dekker. Depending on registrations, the language of this day will be English. On day 2, we will look at the future of cancer treatment in more detail, with innovation as the driving force.
